This year we celebrate 30 years since our late founder and chairman David Jackson established Hudson.
After training as a draftsman in the seventies, by the mid-nineties, Dave owned a number of construction businesses from housebuilding and civil engineering through to labour supply.
Seeing that CIS compliance and particularly employment status were becoming huge issues that most construction firms struggled to deal with, he established Hudson so that clients could focus on winning, delivering and getting paid for construction work, safe in the knowledge that Hudson had those legal complexities covered.
Three decades on, with a group turnover of more than £2bn per year, Hudson remains true to Dave’s core founding principle of “doing what it says on the tin”.
Still family owned and run, Hudson remains as focused as ever in providing a 100% guarantee to its clients, to making payments on time every time to the tens of thousands of operatives who rely on us each week, and continually investing in the best legal and accounting minds to ensure we stay on top of and ahead of new legislation.
