Hudson Contract Client Update: Welcome Back!

One of the most satisfying trends we’re noticing at Hudson Contract is the number of former clients – and freelance builders – who are coming back on board.

Managing Director David Jackson observes: “It’s a sure sign that times are getting better for the firms in question, with workloads on the increase. And of course, it’s always good to know these firms continue to trust us to protect them from HMRC status issues and employment tribunal nightmares.”

Since April, we have welcomed back no fewer than 68 former clients, whose operatives include 178 freelance builders who have also previously been engaged through Hudson Contract.

Other recent new clients include two of the largest firms to join the Hudson Contract family – both from the West Midlands, specialising in the surfacing trades – plus a big civil engineering firm from South Yorkshire.

“At the other end of the size scale, we remain the popular choice with many smaller firms,” says David Jackson.

“All are equally welcome, and all can confidently expect the same level of first class service and guaranteed protection from HMRC’s status inspectors and those who seek to take them to an employment tribunal.”

While we are very sorry to report that 11 clients are no longer trading, on a further positive note we would like to welcome the 139 new clients who have chosen Hudson Contract since April, ranging from a family builder in Cornwall to an electrical contractor in the North East.
