Hudson Contract in the community: Congratulations to Bridlington Rugby Club!

The links between Hudson Contract and Bridlington Rugby Club go back over many years.  We are a long-term sponsor, and our Chairman, David Jackson, is a former Director of the club.  So we’re delighted to report an off-the-pitch triumph, at the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Chairman’s Awards, where it was named as this year’s outstanding club.

The awards celebrate the contributions made by individuals and organisations that help to make the East Riding a better place. Club Manager David Robinson said: “Thanks to Hudson Contract, we are building the future of rugby in this part of England. We started off not so long ago with 19 children and today we have 176 youth players – and the number of girls participating is growing.”

Hudson Contract Chairman David Jackson adds: “In 2014, we funded the club’s first Youth Development Officer and it’s fantastic to see the vision we all shared has now come to fruition for the benefit of the whole community.  This award recognises all the hard work that has been put in, together with the undying commitment of the team of volunteers.  I’m delighted for everyone involved.”
