Thirty-one-year-old Craig, a self-confessed ‘fantasy football nerd’ – and so far as we know no relation to the Craig Johnson who played for Liverpool in the 80s – steered his team Bouncebackability to victory over more than 150 rivals last season.

Craig is an office worker for Hudson Contract client Ceramic Specialists, in Wiltshire. He says: “I’ve been playing Fantasy Football for nine seasons, and this is my best ever result. In addition to topping the Hudson Contract League, I finished 64^th out of over 3.5 million players. But as for strategy, quite honestly, I think a lot of it was down to luck!”

Living in Salisbury, Craig struggles to get to games at Anfield. “So I think I’m going to use my prize money to watch my local team, Bournemouth. And the rest will go towards doing up the house I’ve just bought. Very useful and massive appreciation to Hudson Contract for putting up such a generous prize.”
