How long has Hudson been in business?
Over 14 years.

Where is the company registered?
1 Mill Lane, Bridlington, East Yorkshire, YO16 7AP.

Is Hudson an agency?
No. We do not seek to influence operatives that are contracted nor do we seek to recruit operatives for our clients. Our legal standing was endorsed by the General Commissioners in 2002.

How many contractors and subcontractors use your service?
We have over 1,300 construction clients nationwide. To date, we have contracted and paid over 70,000 individuals under CIS, all of whom have been verified and accepted by HMRC.

How much does your service cost for each operative?
Our standard fee is from £16 per man per week. The fee can be off-set against an operatives earnings but is always charged to you the client.

How do you ensure that the men get paid?
Every week our banking partners Barclays PLC delivers thousands of individual payments to operatives' bank accounts. Therefore, providing our clients process the payment instructions at the appropriate time, and providing operatives keep us informed of any bank account changes, Hudson guarantees delivery of their wages on the agreed contracted day. In 14 years we have never missed a payment.

Will our operatives receive a pay advice from Hudson?
Yes, each week by text. Additionally at the end of each month we post them a full and detailed statement.

How do we pay Hudson?
In advance by BACS Transfer, CHAPS or Faster Payments.

Who are your bankers?
Barclays PLC.

You say that ALL subbies under contract to Hudson are lawfully self employed. Please explain?

No. ALL operatives engaged under our contracts declare themselves to be self-employed and not an employee or worker under the Working Time Regulations. On various occasions over the years Hudson has successfully defended the legitimacy of its self employment contracts at Tribunal.

Extracts of our principle legal judgements can be viewed under Our Guarantee.

Does Hudson take full responsibility for justifying an operatives self employment status?
